PLAYING FIELD | CAE CHWARAE

On Saturday 3rd February, an open day was held in the village hall to share ideas and thoughts for the future of the playing field in Glyndyfrdwy. It was a well attended day with lots of contributions from children and adults and great cakes and sandwiches made by the Berwyn Arms. Thank you to the Denbighshire Council SDF fund for making this possible.

Ar Ddydd Sadwrn Chwefror 3ydd, cynhaliwyd diwrnod agored yn neuadd y pentref i rannu syniadau am ddyfodol cae chwarae Glyndyfrdwy. Cawsom lawer o gyfraniadau gwych gan blant ac oedolion a chacennau a brechdanau blasus a wnaed gan y Berwyn Arms. Diolch i gronfa SDF Cyngor Sir Ddinbych am wneud hyn yn bosibl.

Our Hall

Glyndyfrdwy village hall (official name is the Owain Glyndŵr Memorial Hall | Neuadd Goffa Owain Glyndŵr) is at the heart of our local village, a popular place for events and gatherings and also an integral part of our local history. The hall is run by a committee of volunteers - we’re also the ones updating this website, and so if it’s ever a bit of out of date, sorry (and do let us know!).

The village hall hosts a series of regular events and some special events and they’re listed on our events page.

You can hire the hall - it’s been used for weddings, film screenings, children parties, concerts and many other events. If you’d like to hire the hall visit our booking the hall page and then get in touch through the contact page.

Glyndyfrdwy is home and neighbour to many great people, organisations and enterprises and we’ve added some links to those on our links page.

Ein Neuadd

Mae neuadd bentref Glyndyfrdwy (enw swyddogol yw Neuadd Goffa Owain Glyndŵr) wrth galon ein pentref lleol, yn lle poblogaidd ar gyfer digwyddiadau a chynulliadau a hefyd yn rhan annatod o’n hanes lleol. Mae’r neuadd yn cael ei rhedeg gan bwyllgor o wirfoddolwyr – ni hefyd yw’r rhai sy’n diweddaru’r wefan hon, ac felly gallwn fod ychydig ar ei hôl hi weithiau!

Mae neuadd y pentref yn cynnal cyfres o ddigwyddiadau rheolaidd a rhai digwyddiadau arbennig ac maent wedi’u rhestru ar ein tudalen digwyddiadau.

Gallwch logi’r neuadd – mae wedi cael ei defnyddio ar gyfer priodasau, nosweithiau ffilm, arddangosfeydd, partïon plant, cyngherddau a llawer o ddigwyddiadau eraill. Os hoffech chi logi’r ewch i’n tudalen archebu’r neuadd ac yna cysylltwch drwy’r dudalen gyswllt. Gallwch hefyd weld lluniau o ddigwyddiadau blaenorol yn y 'Gallery'.

Mae Glyndyfrdwy yn gartref ac yn gymydog i lawer o bobl, sefydliadau a mentrau gwych ac rydym wedi ychwanegu rhai dolenni at y rhai ar ein tudalen dolenni.

Our wedding reception was just perfect in Glyndyfrdwy’s village hall. It’s a beautiful building in a brilliant location - we used the lawns as extra space and had marquees and people went for a walk to see the steam train! it’s a special place.
— Lisa & John
Rydyn ni wedi bod yn cynnal SyM yma ers 80 o flynyddoedd ac mae’n gwella o hyd. Mae pob ymwelydd a siaradwr yn dweud pa mor braf yw ein neuadd. Rwy’n teimlo’n falch iawn ohono.
— Mary
